We offer psychological and psychiatric services including a range of therapy and psychological and psychiatric assessments. The Better Life Consultants are happy to receive referrals for Arabic speakers. We are based in Auckland, New Zealand but happy to take referrals nationwide.
Farid Shehata is a NZ registered psychologist and Neuropsychologist in training who offers psychological support for depression and anxiety and therapy for individuals and couples and refugees. Additionally, he provides a variety psychological assessments such as ADHD, dyslexia, and educational. He offers services in English and Arabic.
Dr Fady Saeed FRANZCP, is a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He is available for referrals for adult ADHD diagnosis and reviewing medication from previous mental health diagnosis. He is a multicultural psychiatrist, offering services in both English and Arabic.
Marilise Gullan, a Speech Pathologist and Audiologist with 28 years’ experience has a broad scope of speciality. She has extensive experience in speech and language delays and disorders, as well as literacy. She also has extensive experience working with both adults and children with Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke and Concussion.
